Samantha Bolet

Founder

Samantha Bolet is the founder and Chief Operating Officer of Latinas in Cyber, a 501c nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of Latina women in the cybersecurity workforce.


Additionally, she is a Senior Privacy Program Manager at the world's most valued start-up, where she leads privacy strategy under the global Privacy and Data Protection Office.


Prior to her current roles, Samantha was a Senior Associate at KPMG within their Cybersecurity Strategy and Governance practice. Samantha’s additional work experience also includes data analytics at a technology start-up, public policy for the Illinois Institute of Government and Public Affairs, and managing constituent affairs for an Illinois State Senator.


Samantha has been recognized within the Forbes 30 Under 30 List for her leadership in the cybersecurity and non-profit sector. 


She holds a STEM M.S. from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Data Privacy and Technology certification from Harvard Business School.


Samantha is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but now resides in New York City. She is a first-generation American with a Spanish and Venezuelan background.
